Sonic Mania - Mushroom Hill Zone

Whew, this was a hard one to work on. This had to be the most time-consuming Mania mock-up I've made yet. But it was so worth it.

Mushroom Hill Zone is potentially my favorite Sonic zone of all time, since Sonic & Knuckles was the Sonic game I played the most on Mega Collection Plus, and, believe it or not, I could never get past Mushroom Hill, which meant that it was the zone I saw and played the most. I love everything about it, the aesthetics, the bouncy music, the level design, etc.. I was actually a little surprised that it didn't make it into Sonic Mania. And, honestly, I would have preferred it to Oil Ocean.

I also had a great idea for Act 2, which I will not be talking about just yet, as I am actually trying to make a second mock-up, which will showcase my idea. So stay tuned for that, hopefully it won't take as long to make as this mock-up took.
